CES remains the industry indicator for what’s hot in consumer electronics, and while the curved TV and wearable tech grabbed a fair share of attention at this year’s show, tablets remain a leading category. Aleratec is on the forefront of this massive shift to mobile with a new product category, Portable Device Management (PDM), and two new products that address a growing need to effectively charge, sync and manage multiple tablets and other USB-charged devices.
Our new Charge and Guard Secure Charge/Sync Cabinet 16 is a high-security cabinet with Active Smart Charge technology for rapid charging of iOS, Android and most other tablet platforms. Supplying a full 2.4 amps per port, this durable cabinet allows users to charge, sync and store up to 16 tablets simultaneously in about the same time as it takes to charge or sync one. Exceptional features of the Charge and Guard Secure Charge/Sync Cabinet 16 include an all-metal, lockable cabinet with a welded anchor loop for chaining the enclosure to a secure structure. This is particularly helpful in preventing the unauthorized removal of the cabinet and a critical feature in places where there is a high risk of theft. The Charge and Guard Secure Charge/Sync Cabinet 16 also includes 16 compartments that accommodate larger tablets and protective cases.
The Charge and Sync Station 16 with Active Smart Charge technology supports rapid charging of up to 16 iOS, Android and most other tablet platforms. This unit includes many of the same the features of the Charge and Guard Cabinet but is designed for portability with a durable, all-metal enclosure and a convenient carrying handle that lets you to move it from station to station as needed. We even include tablet racks to hold the devices while they are charging.
As tablets move beyond living rooms and into classrooms, conference rooms, and commercial venues such as restaurants, Aleratec is dedicated to bringing the best solutions in Portable Device Management, and we’re proud to deliver these practical, timesaving solutions to the educational, corporate and commercial markets.
